On September 5, we officially cut the ribbon at our new home: 524 Elizabeth Street, Utica. This larger, more accessible space allows us to better serve our community with:
Expanded room to keep our shelves full for families in need
A private meeting room to connect clients with support and resources
A welcoming environment that makes accessing help easier than ever
This move is more than just a new building, it’s about creating a stronger foundation to care for our neighbors and connect them with the services they deserve.
We’re excited for this next chapter and honored to continue serving the people of Utica.
Utica Food Pantry
The Pantry serves the residents of the City of Utica who meet The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) income eligibility requirement.
Typical clients include working families trying to make ends meet, people experiencing a temporary job loss, individuals whose SNAP (food stamps) benefits have been reduced, and senior citizens. Seniors often seek help because most are on a fixed income and are impacted by higher medication and health care costs.
As a private, nonprofit organization we depend entirely on donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and other strategic partners.
Hours of Operation:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 11am – 1pm
The Utica Food Pantry was founded in 1982 when it incorporated as a 501(c) organization. As a private, nonprofit organization we depend entirely on donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and other strategic partners.
